Steven is a registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor under the supervision of Dr. Sandy Wilson. He graduated from Moody Theological Seminary in 2018 with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and he has been with Family Dynamics since December of 2019. Steven enjoys working with individuals of all ages – including children – from diverse backgrounds, especially those in recovery from addiction, those affected by trauma and transitions, and depression and anxiety. Steven is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other treatment modalities. However, Steven uses an over-arching Person-Centered approach that allows clients to take more of a lead in discussions so that they will be empowered to discover their own solutions in the therapeutic process and in the future. Having moved from Chicago to Redding in 2019, Steven loves hiking and exploring Northern California’s great terrain as well as playing and writing music in his spare time.
